Real Estate Riches

Challenge
Real Estate Riches and KMS joined forces in 2003. RER needed a well known face and voice to help them get their marketing message to the public, and KMS President Kathy Svilar needed to learn how to invest in local Pittsburgh real estate. KMS produced hundreds of radio and TV commercials, trade show videos, web testimonials and 30 minute radio shows for the company. As RER expanded into other markets, KMS researched and bought the broadcast media to open offices in Phoenix, Philadelphia, Houston and Dallas. Harpers Bazaar

Challenge
Harpers Bazaar had a great product, but a poor location. KMS used owner Marcy Walter’s idea of “registering prom gowns” to produce a very successful 30 second PROM TV commercial. We shot beautifully lit, fun prom spots in Kathy’s home. The results were smashing.

Shop 'n Save

Challenge

Kathy Svilar became the face and voice of Shop 'n Save in the fall of 1983. For over 20 years the retailer and Svilar were successful in communicating the “Shop 'n Save” message to the tri-state area. “The Shop 'n Save Lady” will be remembered in the annals of Pittsburgh history, representing one of the longest running ad campaigns.

Established in 1983 – KMS Advertising had already assisted many small business owners with copywriting, special events, billboard advertising,
and broadcast media buys. After 21 years of representing the local
grocery store chain Shop 'n Save, Kathy Svilar shifted gears and moved from talent to writer- producer in 2003. Then an exciting phone call in September of 2006 gave Kathy the opportunity of a lifetime! She was asked by Shop n Save supplier, Supervalu, to handle the grocery store advertising on an interim basis for the Holiday season.
